邵逸夫（Sir Run Run Shaw），香港电视广播有限公司荣誉主席，**公司邵氏兄弟的创办人之一，香港上海商会成员，香港着名的**制作者。

1910年设立一家颇具规模的“锦泰昌”颜料号。邵玉轩不仅经营有方，生意红火，而且同情支持孙中山的革命活动，在当时的上海工商界颇为活跃。　光绪三十三年十月十四（1907年11月19日），儿子邵逸夫生于镇海，祖籍浙江宁波。邵氏兄妹八人，逸夫排行老六（成名后被尊称六叔）。有趣的是，邵逸夫和大哥邵醉翁、二哥邵村人、三哥邵山客的名字如出一辙，皆源于陶渊明的田园诗篇，原为“号”，叫惯了也就成了“名”。

邵逸夫自幼受英文敎育，中学时入美国人开办的“靑年会中学”读书，能说一口流利的英语。当时的上海十里洋场，娱乐事业已经相当蓬勃。耳濡目染之下，少年邵逸夫暗生“娱乐心”。

1923年，邵家已趋败落，所有家业中只剩下一幢房子和“笑舞台”一家剧院。邵氏兄弟毅然卖掉房子，举家搬进“笑舞台”，破釜沉舟，成败在此一举。
